Good Luck!!!

A blog worth a read:

The shortest West End run for a play was
Lord Lytton's 'The Lady of Lyons'.
At the Shaftesbury Theatre on 26th December 1888,
the opening night was delayed an hour before the audience was sent home.
They couldn't open the safety curtain.

How many publishers does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Three. One to screw it in. Two to hold down the author.

If you want to change a lightbulb, how many editors
do you need?
The way this is worded does not conform with our style guide.

'To acquire the habit of reading is to construct for yourself a refuge from almost all the miseries of life.'
W Somerset Maugham

'Writing is easy.  All you have to do is cross
out the wrong words.'  Mark Twain

'There is probably no hell for authors in the next world -
they suffer so much from critics and publishers in this.'
C N Bovee
